Spooky Halloween Terrarium
Posted by Hannah G. on Oct 21st 2021
With Halloween just next week, we went on the hunt for last minute DIYs to help prepare! We found this spooky DIY terrarium from Home Edit that we wanted to share here using some stuff you can grab off of WGV International for a quick craft time with your family!
For this craft you'll need:
- 8"x8"Glass Cylinder Vase
- Gloves
- Rocks
- Soil
- Succulents
- Moss
- Spoon
- Plastic Spiders and Skeletons (Can be found at your local craft store.)
- Faux Spider Web
Step 1:
Create a base for your terrarium using rocks. Carefully adding rocks to the base of your container helps with drainage so that your succulents stay dry after you water them.
Step 2:
Prepare your succulents by pulling them loosely from their container. Using the loose soil from your succulents, place them on top of the layer of rocks already laid down. Avoid sprinkling any soil on top of your succulents.
Step 3:
Add moss using a spoon to the bottom of your terrarium.
Step 4:
Decorate! Place a plastic skeleton into the soil against the glass and add fake spider webbing on top of your succulent. Gently place a plastic spider on top of the web and you are done! You now have a perfectly spooky Halloween terrarium!
