Yes! Most of our residential orders will ship by FedEx Home delivery, but for larger orders requiring a pallet to ship, please be aware that additional shipping charges for a lift-gate service and residential delivery service may apply. Please refer to our Shipping Policies for more information.

What is a lift-gate?

A lift-gate is a tool used to raise or lower pallets from a delivery truck. If your delivery location does not have a truck level loading dock or fork-lift available, you will need the lift-gate service to unload the pallet from the vehicle.

What is considered a residential location or limited access area?

Freight companies, when delivering pallet orders, experience more challenges delivering to non-commercial locations due to the size of their trucks/trailers. A residential address is classified as an address that is in a residential zone, difficult to access, and may not have equipment for unloading a pallet.
Similarly, areas with limited access also cause challenges when delivering and include but are not limited to one-way streets, golf courses, country clubs, amusement parks, construction sites, hotels, farms, and mines, places of worship, schools, hospitals, nursing homes, correctional facilities, outdoor wedding venues, self-storage facilities, and military bases.
Some carriers will make accommodations and deliver in a smaller trailer to residential and limited access areas when necessary, resulting in an additional service fees.

PRODUCTS

Are your products handmade?

The majority of our products are handmade by skilled craftsman within the industry. With any handmade piece there could be some slight variations in sizing, especially with hand-blown glass, as well as some blunt or rough edging as our pieces do not employ high grit polishing post production. Due to the nature of hand-blown pieces, there is a possibility of a sizing discrepancy within +/- 0.5” inches. Also, with any true hand blown glass piece, there is always the possibility of air bubbles within the glass as they are a natural byproduct of any hand blown glass item,

Where are your items manufactured?

We manufacture all of our products in China which are then shipped back to us here in the United States.

How are your products measured?

All our products are manufactured in metric dimensions and then converted to the nearest standard measurement to make it easier for our customers to visualize. Due to this, there may be some slight discrepancies on the size measurements of certain pieces. If you need exact dimensions for your specific needs, please contact our office to have one of our customer service associates get the exact dimensions for you. All of the items are measured from outside edge to outside edge of the piece, inside opening diameters or heights would vary depending on each piece. When the containers are made, we can only control the outside opening diameter or height because the blow mold can only control those parameters. Since the majority of our pieces are handmade containers / hand-blown glass vases, if you look carefully, there might be very minute differences between them.

Are your products microwave or dishwasher safe?

Hand blown glass pieces are generally not considered microwave or dishwasher safe due to the potential presence of air bubbles, which are a natural byproduct of the hand blow process.  The heat exposure caused by a microwave or a dishwasher could potentially heat up and expand the air bubbles in the glass, causing them to crack or burst.

Do your ceramics contain drainage holes?

No, our ceramic line currently does not come equipped with drainage holes.

Can I fill Vases with Rocks and Water?

It depends on the sizes of products. Normally smaller vase 6x6 or smaller are able to hold water better. Also cannot be those thin terrarium glass, it needs to be the regular glass vases. Larger Vases we do not recommend our customers to fill our vases with waters. Anything larger than 7x7", or taller. Larger vases normally the wall of the vase is expanded larger, so the pressure on the wall would be much greater than the smaller vases. If you do decide to fill the vase with water/rocks, you will be liable for your own decisions. If you are uncertain, please contact our office for details on the recommendations.

Are your items safe for candle making?

The majority of our glass and ceramic pieces are considered suitable for candle making.  However, because the overall temperature a candle burns at can be affected by several factors: the type of wax you are using. if there are any chemical additives for fragrance, the wick size, etc - we recommend placing a smaller order, or emailing us directly to inquire about a sample piece order.

I received a damaged or incorrect item, what should I do?

Please contact us at sales@wgvint.com or 626-452-8268 and we will be happy to assist you with your claim. All damaged item claims must be submitted no later than 2 weeks from date of order receipt and must be accompanied by pictures of the damages.
