These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") outline the agreement between you, the customer ("you"), and WGV International ("we" or "us") concerning product shipping times, the unique characteristics of handmade products, and related policies. By placing an order or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any purchase.
Handmade Products
Most of our items are handmade by skilled artisans, giving each piece a unique and personal touch. As a result, there may be slight variations in size, particularly with hand-blown glass products, which may have a size discrepancy of up to +/- 0.5 inches.
Hand-blown glass may naturally contain small air bubbles, which are not considered defects unless they affect the item’s functionality or safety. While we ensure the highest quality, slight variations are part of the handmade process and should be expected.
Shipping
Shipping Time Estimates
We strive to provide accurate shipping time estimates, but they are not guaranteed. Delivery times depend on external factors such as third-party shipping carriers and other influences beyond our control.
Factors Affecting Shipping Times
1. Processing Time: This includes order verification, packaging, and preparation for shipment.
2. Carrier Services: Delivery speed depends on the policies and workload of the chosen shipping carrier.
3. Transit Time: The duration of shipping varies based on distance, method, and location-specific circumstances.
Delivery Delays
We make every effort to ensure timely delivery, but we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by external factors such as natural disasters, customs clearance, weather conditions, strikes, or other unforeseen events.
Communication and Updates
We will keep you updated on your order’s progress through email, SMS, or other communication channels. However, tracking information may not always reflect real-time delivery status.
Customer Responsibility
Ensure that the shipping information provided during checkout is accurate and complete. Inaccurate or incomplete information may result in delayed or failed deliveries, for which we are not liable.
*Time-Specific Delivery Requests
If you need your order to arrive within a specific time frame, you must communicate this requirement when placing the order. While we can provide estimates, WGV International is not responsible for missed deadlines unless explicitly confirmed in writing.
Limitation of Liability
We aim to meet your shipping expectations but do not guarantee shipping times. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to shipping delays.
Damage Claims
All damage claims must be submitted within 7–10 days of receiving your order. Claims submitted outside of this time frame may be denied. It is crucial that you thoroughly inspect all items upon receipt and include all damaged items in your initial claim. Multiple damage claims may be denied, so please ensure that all items are inspected and reported as part of your first submission. To submit a damage claim, please include photos of the damaged items along with the SKU number and the quantity of pieces affected. Claims submitted without photographic evidence will be denied.
Refund/Replacement Policy
Ground Orders
For ground shipped orders, we offer the option of a complimentary one-time replacement or a refund for the damaged items.
Pallet Orders
In the event of damages during transit, we do not offer replacements for pallet orders. Instead, we will issue a refund or account credit for any damaged items.
Affiliate Sellers and Third-Party Listings
We do not permit the resale of our products on third-party platforms, including but not limited to Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart, Overstock, Bed Bath & Beyond, eBay, and Etsy, without prior authorization. Orders placed by unauthorized sellers may be canceled, and accounts may be terminated.
Customer Returns and Exchanges
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, including any customs duties or fees. The original shipping cost of your order is non-refundable. Please note that the original shipping cost is non-refundable. Returns will only be accepted within 30 days of receiving the item; returns made after this period will incur a 25% restocking fee.
Refund Processing
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method after we receive and inspect the returned item. Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Exceptions
If we made an error with your order, such as shipping a defective or incorrect item, we will cover return shipping costs. Please contact our customer service for assistance in these cases.
