Winter Floral Arrangements
Dec 9th 2021
When most people think of flowers and floral arrangements, their minds immediately go to spring and summer blooms. Bright and vibrant flowers that pop under the sunlight. However, winter can also be the perfect opportunity to showcase cool-toned florals and get creative with sprigs and greenery.
For that same bright pop of color, opt for white roses, winterberry sprigs, and the greenery of your choice. The red of winterberry is popular this time of the year, and for good reason, everything about it screams holiday season and mixed into the crisp white of roses, they are the perfect combination.
For cooler toned floral arrangements, emphasizing the greenery of your arrangement is the best way to go. Try using seeded eucalyptus and dusty miller sprays with a smattering of thin twigs and branches for a more rustic look. Placing them in a wood planter box is also the perfect way to achieve a cabin-like environment.
Winter blooms may not be the most colorful, but crisp white amidst the typical reds, greens, and blues of holiday decorations can help ground a centerpiece or floral arrangement in your home. White roses, white lisianthus, and white anemones are beautiful flowers that are very easily the star of the show all on their own. Dress them up with pinecone picks and greenery or leave them bunched for a gorgeous white centerpiece atop vibrant red table settings.
